Our Founder, The Dairy Queen

In 2019, I was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor and underwent brain surgery to remove it. With the unwavering support of friends and family, I recovered. During my recovery, I made a commitment to nourish my mind and body, overcoming disordered eating and prioritizing natural, nutritious ingredients.

I reintroduced cheese, ice cream, and yogurt into my diet. It was freeing and liberating. Diet culture is a scam; today’s “healthy” alternatives are unnatural in innumerable ways. They can’t compete with the texture and taste of natural dairy products.

However, I couldn’t find an all-natural flavored cow’s milk that was low in sugar and offered flavors that excited me.

That’s when the idea for Udderly struck me — it felt like a renaissance: a nostalgic return with an innovative twist.

So, whether you’re rediscovering the deliciousness of dairy or discovering that dairy can do more, welcome!

Growing up on an organic dairy farm, I developed a profound appreciation for and interest in food and agriculture systems.

My childhood was spent bottle-feeding baby calves, raising ducklings, studying our farm’s flora, and tending to our fruit orchard.

I enjoyed freshly shucked corn on the cob, drank maple sap straight from the tree, plucked berries right off the bush, and indulged in dairy’s best. Yet, plain milk never appealed to me; I adored flavored milk.

As I grew older, like many women, I learned to avoid certain foods. Almond milk became my go-to, and the joy of food and sharing meals with loved ones faded away.
